Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance through a literature review of recent studies conducted over the past five years. Job satisfaction is an emotional state arising from an individual's assessment of their work, which can influence motivation, commitment, and work behavior. The literature review indicates that job satisfaction has a positive relationship with employee performance, through increased intrinsic motivation, perceptions of organizational support, and psychological well-being. Factors such as fair compensation, a conducive work environment, and leadership style also strengthen this relationship. Therefore, organizations need to focus on efforts to improve job satisfaction to optimize employee performance.
