Psikoedukasi Kesehatan Mental, Relasi Pertemanan Sehat, dan Pencegahan Bullying pada Siswa MTs Assalam Manado

Bullying remains a persistent issue in school settings and poses significant risks to adolescents' mental health, social relationships, and academic development. This community service program aimed to enhance students' knowledge and awareness of adolescent mental health, promote healthy peer relationships, and strengthen bullying prevention through a psychoeducational approach. The program was conducted with 78 seventh- and eighth-grade students at MTs Assalam Manado as part of the Wale Jiva Goes to School initiative. A participatory psychoeducation method was employed, incorporating interactive lectures, ice-breaking activities, self-reflection, question-and-answer sessions, small-group discussions, and case-based learning using scenarios relevant to students' daily experiences. The educational content covered adolescent mental health, self-awareness, healthy peer relationships, and the forms, consequences, and prevention of bullying. The implementation demonstrated active student engagement throughout the program and resulted in improved understanding of the importance of maintaining mental health, recognizing emotional states, distinguishing between healthy and unhealthy peer relationships, and identifying various forms and impacts of bullying. Furthermore, the program encouraged students to develop positive communication skills, respect individual differences, provide support to their peers, and actively contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and bullying-free school environment.
